My teaching attempts to escalate the role of the critical image in architecture. It is a vital skill today and in the future. Additionally, I often challenge conditioned taste. The result is studio work using constrained design material and privileging manipulation over content. This work is highly critical of the historic architectural canon, using sneaky techniques to destabilize those icons and create space for new positions and genealogies.
